West Point—Gladys Bradley, 91, a former lifelong resident of West Point, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 1989 in Heritage Healthcare Center, West Lafayette, where she had been a patient five and a half years.
  She was born Sept. 5, 1897 in Attica. She was married June 24, 1914 in West Point to Hugh Earl Bradley, who preceded her in death April 14, 1974. He had been an employee of Alcoa.
  She was educated in the Wayne Township schools.
  She was a member of West Point United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Plains grange, Home Hospital Auxiliary and had been a 25-year member of the Shadeland Community Club.
  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. F. (Margaret) Smith, Lafayette; a son, Hugh Earl Jr., Lafayette; a half sister, Sarah L. Dornblaser, Covington; two grandchildren, Joseph E. and James F. Smith, and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a half brother.
  Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday in West Point United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lewis Ruman officiating. Burial was in West Point Cemetery.
  Landis-Loy Mortuary, Lafayette, was in charge of arrangements. -s-
