Tangier—Virginia Mae Brandenburg, 66, Route 1, Tangier, died at 6:35 a.m. Friday, March 17, 1989 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, where she had been a patient since Jan. 231. She had been in failing health for five years.
  She was born Oct. 7, 1922 near Marshfield, the daughter of Harry and Ruth Trent Wilson. She was married June 24, 1942 in Covington to Kenneth C. Brandenburg, who survives.
  She graduated from West Lebanon High School in 1939. She had lived in Hoopeston, Ill., and Kokomo before moving to Tangier 37 years ago.
  She was a homemaker and had attended the United Pentecostal Church in Rockville.
  Surviving besides her husband are six sons, Daryl L., Melvin G. and Ronnie F., all of Indianapolis; Kevin L. and Donnie K., both of Tangier, and Edwin B., Salt Lake City, Utah; a sister, Mary Evelyn Arndt, Pomona, Calif., and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother.
  Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Fisher Funeral Home, West Lebanon, with the Rev. Joel Hutson officiating. Burial was in Baltimore Hill Cemetery. – thanks to S
