William N. Brannaman, 88, of Veedersburg a retired farmer, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Lake View Hospital at Danville, Ill. He had been a patient two days and had been ill three years. Mr. Brannaman farmed in the Coal Springs community. He was a member of the United Brethren Church at Hillary, Ill., a former member of the Veedersburg Lions Club. He was born at Coffeeville, Kan. on July 22, 1885, a son of Fred and Minnie VanCamp Brannaman. He was married on April 15, 1909 at Danville, Ill., to Dorcas Smith who survives. Also surviving are two sons, John of Veedersburg and Everett of Whitehall, Mont.; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Bertha) Willard of Veedersburg; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a brother Dan Brannaman of Adams, Wis. Services at Parham Funeral Home with pastor Bud Stidham officiating. Burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery at Mayview, Ill.
