Relatives in the city have been notified of the death of Mrs. Dennis Brennan, who died this morning at her home in Veedersburg after several weeks' illness

The deceased formerly resided in Ladoga. She was an aunt of James Brennan and Mrs. Willis Sharp of this city.  Funeral services will be held here but the hour of the services have not yet been decided upon.  Mrs. Brennan is survived by two sons, Denny Brennan of Bellsfontaine, O and John Brennan of Brasil (sic) and three daughters Mrs. Jack Martin, Indianapolis, Mrs. Kate King of Veedersburg and Miss Mary Brennan of New

Mrs. Ellen Brennan, aged 87, died of pneumonia at 4 o’clock Friday morning at Mercyville Sanitarium, Aurora, Ill where she was taken for treatment a week before her death. Mrs. Brennan was born Aug 8, 1841, in County Carey, Ireland, and came to this country at the age of 13, settling near Crawfordsville. She was married to Dennis Brennan in 1858. He died six years ago. She had been a resident of Veedersburg 40 years. Surviving are three daughters and three sons: Mrs. Anna Martin of Indianapolis; Mrs. Kate King of Veedersburg; Miss Mollie Brennan of NY, NY; Dennis Brennan of Bellefontaine, Ohio; John Brennan of Brazil, Ind; Joe Brennan at home. A sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Breshnahan, aged 84 lives in Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Brennan was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. The body was taken to Veedersburg and funeral was held at Crawfordsville Monday morning. (thanks Kristy K)
