Covington—Mrs. Emma Brewer, 74, died Sunday morning at 5 o’clock at her country home, RFD 1, Covington. She had been in failing health for several years.
Mrs. Brewer was born Feb. 5, 1874 in Illinois, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Clifton Ashmore. In 1907 she was married to Ross Brewer, who survives.
Surviving in addition to the husband are three brothers, Wesley Ashmore of Danville, Ill., James Ashmore of Chicago and Addie Ashmore of Kankakee, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs. Lillian Terrence of Catlin, Ill., Mrs. Bertha Campbell of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Rose Sollars of Arcola, Ill.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Snoddy’s Church with burial in the Snoddy’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home until the hour of the services. – thanks to S&E
