BRIER, Frances Brooks - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Frances I. Brooks Brier, 79, formerly of 1109 S. Brady St, died at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday May 4, 1999 at Woodland Manor Nursing Center, Attica. Mrs. Brier was a homemaker.  Born July 19 1919 in Stone Bluff, she was a longtime resident of Attica.  Mrs. Brier graduated from Waveland High School. She married Glenn H. Brier on Sept 6, 1942 in Stone Bluff. He died on June 13, 1982.  Mrs. Brier was a former member of the Friends of the Attica Public Library. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bill Nancy) Crumley of Riverside, Calif and Marcell Pattengale and June Lefton, both of Attica. - kbz

“Funeral Notices” – Brier, Frances I – Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Friday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, the Rev. George Weister officiating. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Brooks and Dora Belle Medley.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the Attica Public Library.
