Wilmer Vern Brier Sr., 67, of Attica Route 4, died unexpectedly at 4:10 p.m. Monday (Oct. 9. 1967) while working at the Park Arvin residence near Attica. Born Sept. 26, 1900, in Warren County, he was a son of Frank and Margy Woods Brier. He was married in 1925 to Mary Hayes who survives. Also surviving are a son, Wilmer Jr., of Attica Route 4; a sister. Mrs. Cecil Bowman of Williamsport, and four grandchildren. He was a Navy veteran of World War I, serving on the USS Pennsylvania. He was employed at the Harrison Steel Castings Co. 1921-32. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Services were Thursday at, the Roemer Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Burt officiating. Burial was in the Rainsville Cemetery in Warren County.
