Funeral services for William T. Briggs were held at the Kingman Christian Church of which he was a charter member, Monday afternoon. The service wa sin charge of Rev. OW McGaughey of Veedersburg of former minister here. Mrs. Roy Van Duyn and Mrs. Rex Ransom sang, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Johnson. Pall bearers were William Carter, Jr. EP Moore; William Sowers; James Hepler, Percy Leanard and William Carter, Sr. Flower bearers were Miss Cedella Ratcliff; Mrs. Lena Caplinger; Mrs. Ed Horn; Mrs. Earl Hartley; Mrs. Carrie Young; Mrs. Mae Atkinson; Mrs. William Sowers; Mrs. James Hepler; Mrs. Ira Carpetner; Mrs. Essie Outlaw and Mrs. AH Lindley. Interment was made in the family plot in the Harveysburg Cemetery with GW Spencer in charge. - kbz
