Maxine Briner, 77, Covington, formerly of Indianapolis, died Thursday. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with calling an hour beforehand. She had worked for the Indiana law Examining Board, Indianapolis, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Covington United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Indiana Business College, Indianapolis. – kbz
