AUDREY LITTLE BROOK

Audrey Glen, the only daughter of Baxter and Alice Little, was born south of Kingman October 8 1896 and departed this life Sunday morning, Feb 14 1926, at the age of 29 years 4 months and 6 days. All of her girlhood days were spent on the old farm home, attending school at Kingman. She was converted at the age of 14 and from that time has lived a pure Christian life. She was generous and sympathetic to all and always had a good word to speak of her friends. She was married on March 4 1916 to Orris F. Brook, son of Samuel and Junie Brook and to this union were born four children, Thelma Alice, aged 9, James Samuel, aged 5, John Walter a year and a half and Wm. David, aged 2 months. She was a faithful and devoted wife and mother never complaining, meeting every obstacle with a smile. She took sick Thursday with the influenza and was seriously sick from the very first. Every thing that human love and care could do, was done but to no avail. Her services on earth were done and she had answered her Master's summons. She leaves to mourn her loss the husband and children, previously mentioned, her mother, Mrs. Wm. Evers, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. J. M. McHargue at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. She was laid to rest in the Miller Cemetery
