WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. (CNS) - Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fisher Funeral Home for Robert Alan "Beak" Brooks, 27, of 212 Warren. He was killed Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1976) in a two-car accident west of Williamsport on Indiana Route 28. The Rev. Joe Shryock will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday. Mr. Brooks was born March 5, 1949, in Williamsport, the son of Roland T. and Mary Ellen Cokenburg Brooks. On May 7, 1972, in Williamsport, he married Cheryl Eileen Howard, who survives. He was a 1967 graduate of Williamsport High and was employed in the extrusion department at Teepak in Danville, Ill. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Williamsport United Methodist Church and Attica Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3318. Other survivors include a son, Jody Alan at home; a daughter, Lori Ann at home; his father of Williamsport; seven sisters, Mrs. Delores Chambers and Mrs. Helen Wagner, both of Indianapolis, Mrs. Alice Howard and Mrs. Sharon Long, both of Williamsport, Mrs. Shirley Zenor of Williamsport Route 1, Mrs. Kay Painter of Newton, Ill., and Mrs. Sandy Booe of Mellott; and a brother, Ronnie of Covington. His mother and a brother preceded him in death.  --waw
