Betty R Brown 59 Hillsboro died 4 p.m. Tuesday Dec 2 at Spartansburg SC General Hospital. Death was unexpected and of natural causes. She was in Spartansburg visiting an aunt. She was born April 10, 1927 at Hillsboro, daughter of Harold and Edna Snyder Donovan. She married June 7 1946 to James O. Brown, who survives. Retired from Hopkins Syndicate, Mellott in 1984. 1945 Hillsboro HS grad. Member of Hillsboro Christian Church. Two daugthers: Mrs. Sara Morrison and Mrs. Caroline DUdding; one sister, Mrs. Norma Gustus; two brothers, Harold and John W. Donovan and 4 grandchildren. Preceded by one daughter and two sons. Funeral serv at 10:30 a.m. Saturday Crumley-Williams Funeral Home. Rev. Allen R. Rumble. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
