Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Cecil V. Brown, 61, of 433 Outten, died yesterday (June 19, 1967) at the Veterans Administration Hospital where he had been a patient since May 17. He was born Sept. 24, 1905, in Veedersburg, Ind., the son of Eli Bailey and Hannah Gett Brown. He was married in 1951 in Covington, Ind., to Mary Greazer. She preceded him in death in 1961. He also was preceded by his parents and five brothers and sisters. Surviving are: Two sisters, Mrs. Orville Cundiff of Danville, and Mrs. Bertha Mae Bailey Brown, with whom he made his home; two brothers, James, of Oxford, Ind. and John of St. Anne; five stepchildren, Robert Shouse of Covington, Ind. and Harry J. Shouse of the U.S. Air Force in Denver, Colo., Mrs. Donna Pearson and Mrs. Martha Potter, both of Danville, and Mrs. Jo Ann Smith of Effingham. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren. He had formerly worked at Davies Packing Co. and Harrison Steel. The body is at the Edmund-Jones-Sullivan Funeral Home where friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Morris Gritton of the Faith Baptist church will officiate, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
