A large number from here attended the funeral of JOSEPH BROWN held at his home Monday. The Gleaners Class, of which he and his wife were members, present a beautiful bouquet of Asters and Ferns.
A large company of Liberty township people attended the funeral of JOSEPH BROWN in Sugar Creek township on Monday forenoon. Mr. Brown was known in this township and his North Carolinia friends regretted to hear of his misfortune.
The funeral was held at his residence and was conducted by Rev. Orley Smith. He was almost 61 years of age and leaves a wife and three children, a son and two daughters. His body was layed to rest in the Poplar cemetery near Marshall.
