Waynetown, April 29, 1905 - Friday morning at 9 o'clock Uncle Joe Brown died at his home, 5 miles SW of here at the advanced age of 77. He was born in 1828 in Hamilton County, Ohio, from which place he moved to Fountain County, Indiana when yet a young man. He is the father of seven children: J.A. and Henry living here; William in Texas; Mrs. Charlie Blackford; Mrs. Annie Wallace; Mrs. Rose Miller and one daughter at home who kept house for him. The funeral services occurred Sunday afternoon at 1:30 conducted by Elder A. Plunkett. Interment in the Masonic Cemetery here. - typed by kbz
