Lily Fern Brown Mrs. Lily Fern Brown, 80, of 1104 Council, died at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday (April 13, 1971) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. She had been ill a week. Born March 12, 1891, at Bismarck, Ill., she was the daughter of Albert and Sarah Grider Phillips. She was married Oct. 24, 1910, to Homer Brown, who died in 1969. Mrs. Brown attended the Bismarck area schools. She had resided in the Attica and Veedersburg areas the past 22 years. She was a member of the New Liberty Christian Church and the New Liberty Ladies Aid, both of Veedersburg. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Emerson (Madora) Hetrick and Mrs. Henry (Mary) Gooden, both of Williamsport, and Mrs. John (Elizabeth) Limauge of Potomac, Ill.; five sons, Donald and Albert, both of Attica, Richard of Williamsport, Robert of West Lebanon and Homer of Kingman; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, four sisters and two grandsons. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. CST Friday at the First Church of Christ in Bismarck, with Kenneth Felters officiating. Burial will be in Gundy Cemetery in Bismarck.
