BROWN, Ora Lee - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Ora Lee Brown, formerly of Fountain County, died Saturday, January 17, in Nederland, Texas. He was born at Kingman, July 26, 1925, the son of Ora D. and Margaret Hawkins Brown. August 13, 1948, he married Grace Yates, who survives. He was a 1943 graduate of Waveland High School and a graduate of the University of Illinois. He served in the Coast Guard for four years.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Susan Day of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Betty McClure of Hillsboro and Mrs. Alice Crites of Fort Worth, Texas; a brother, Rex Brown of Rockford, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.
