Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Monday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg, Ind., for Mrs. Rose Marie Brown, 45, of 324 Oak, who was dead-on-arrival at St. Elizabeth Hospital early Saturday (April 22, 1972) following a one-car accident on Interstate 74. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery at Veedersburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Brown was born Jan. 15, 1927, at Niles, Mich., the daughter of Velora and Maude Zimmerman Allen. She had formerly resided in Veedersburg and was employed at the Case Implement Co. in Danville. Survivors include a son, Chris at home; her mother of Veedersburg; a brother, Dallas Allen of Danville; and five aunts. She was preceded in death by her father. – jlr
