Thomas J. (Mike) Brown, age 67, a native of Hillsboro died at 3:05 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. Mr. Brown was born in Hillsboro Dec. 19, 1898, the son of John H. and Myrtle Brown. He was married to Mrs. Ruby H. Brown in Walkerton on Nov. 4, 1961. He was a veteran of World War 11. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bennett and Mrs. Fleta Riebe, both of Walkerton, and two brothers, Newt of Hillsboro and Paul of Mulberry. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Hillsboro, Ind. (CNS) - Thomas J. (Mike) Brown, 67, a farmer and life resident of the Hillsboro community, died unexpectedly yesterday (Oct. 24, 1966) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. Death was attributed to natural causes. Born Dec. 19, 1898, in Hillsboro, he was the son of John H. and Myrtle Holmes Brown. He was married Nov. 4, 1961, at Walkerton, Ind., to Ruby H. Short Brown. Mr. Brown was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bennett and Mrs. Fleta Riebe, both of Walkerton, and two brothers, Paul of Mulberry and Newt of Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home. The Rev. Arthur Schenck will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Wednesday.  --typed by: JR
