Mrs. Mary Gladys Bruner, 67, of 509 Louise Ave., died Saturday morning at Culver Hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 21. She had been in poor health for two months. Born Dec. 10, 1897, in Fountain County, she was the daughter of John C. and Ida Moore Taylor. She married W. Russell Bruner Feb. 3, 1921, in Hillsboro. The couple began housekeeping south of Hillsboro, later living in Waynetown, Alamo and Elmdale before coming to Crawfordsville in 1924. Mrs. Bruner worked at the former Wilson Brothers Shirt Factory in the city and was later employed in the bindery department at R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. where she retired in 1960. She was a member of the Crawfordsville First Christian Church and a member of the Women's Circle of the church. She was also a member of the World War I War Mothers Auxiliary. Mrs. Bruner was preceded in death by two half-sisters. Survivors include the husband; a son, Parvin F. of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Arnold Denton of Moorestown, N.J.; three grandsons, James, Gregory and David Denton, and three brothers, Ralph M. Taylor of Monrovia, Calif., Vernet M. Taylor of Reseda, Calif., and Homer M. Taylor of Chicago. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bright Funeral Home in Crawfordsville. Rev. Howard F. Miller of the First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Waynetown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday.  --typed by Walt W
