BRUNER, Samuel K. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Samuel K. Bruner, 78, succumbed at 6:30 o'clock Sunday night at the home of his son, Vern in Crawfordsville, following an illness of 5 months. He suffered several paralytic strokes during this time. Mr. Bruner was born near Wallace, in Fountain county, Aug 1, 1858, a son of Jacob & Margaret Bruner. His wife, Mrs. Mary Bruner, died in 1907. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lutheran church near Wallace.He is survived by 3 sons: Vern of C'ville; Ira near Waynetown and Harvey of Kingman; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Dowan of Waynetown; 14 grandchildren and two brothers, Joe Bruner, C'ville and William of Wallace. A daughter Mrs Ura Philpott died two years ago.
