Vern Bruner, 71, of 3 Cadillac Drive, died at 6 p.m. Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Ross at Brownsburg. He had been in failing health several months. Born July 17, 1898 in Kingman, he was a son of Samuel K. and Mary Keller Brunner. He was married April 30, 1923 to Flossie Renick. He was a member of the Freedom Church at Wallace. Survivors include the widow; a brother, Ira E. of Wallace; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Cowan of Wallace and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Will W. Brunner, who was killed during WWII. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday.
