BRYANT, Richard Lee

Richard Lee Bryant of Indianapolis, age 40, died Thursday night, March 19, at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Fountain County, October 16, 1940, the son of Maurice C. and Esther Carlile Bryant. He first married Donise Hopper and in 1977, married Betty Robinson, who survives.

  Bryant was a supervisor for Yellow Freight Company in Indianapolis. He previously owned and operated Bryant Barber Shop in Crawfordsville. He was a member of Wesley Community Church, Crawfordsville Moose Lodge, Brownsburg Masonic Lodge and the Army Reserves.

  Also surviving are a son, Rodney Lee of Indianapolis; his parents of Lafayette; a stepdaughter, Sherry Stout of Crawfordsville; two stepsons, Bob Robinson of Crawfordsville and Mike Robinson of Indianapolis; two brothers, Ronald of Crawfordsville and Ed of Lafayette; four aunts and an uncle.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Joe Miller officiating. Entombment was in Oak Hill Mausoleum at Crawfordsville. – thanks to S
