NEWTOWN — Elizabeth "Betty" Pauline (Foxworthy) Roudebush Buck, 84, died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006 in the Indiana Veteran's Home, West Lafayette. She was born March 23, 1922 in Newtown, the daughter of Mark P. and Frances I. (Wisert) Foxworthy. She married Clayton Roudebush March 17, 1946. He preceded in death April 5, 1965. She then married David Buck Aug. 30, 1968. He preceded in death Aug. 2, 1974. She grew up in the Newtown area and graduated from Richland Township High School in 1940. She moved to California in 1952 and returned to live in Newtown in 1966. She worked as a clerk for Helgers Gas Co. in Mellott. She was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Newtown; Order of the Eastern Star #194, Fern Chapter, Hillsboro; and the Quigle-Palin Legion Auxiliary #294, Newtown. Survivors include: three sons, Michael Roudebush, Livermore, Calif., Timothy Roudebush, Eufaula, Okla. and Dennis Roudebush, Waco, Texas; a sister, Lucille Humbert, Scottsville, Ky.; six grandchildren; four step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Patrick and Stanley Roudebush. A gravesite memorial service was at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Newtown Baptist Cemetery. – jlr
