Robert A. Buckles of RR 2, Attica, age 33, died Saturday morning, April 16, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was born at Lafayette, September 11, 1949, the son of Robert E. and Alice M. Gross Buckles. He lived in the Wingate area most of his life and graduated from Coal Creek High School in 1969.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. John Ray, with whom he made his home; four sisters, Sharon Townsend of Delphi, Kathryn Bolinger of Lafayette, Susan Stultz of Attica and Janet Keller of Mellott; and four brothers, Jerry, Michael and Paul of Linden and Kenneth of Lakewood, Colorado.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Helms and Hahn Funeral Home in Linden with Rev. Tom Stark officiating. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Lafayette. – thanks to S
