Mrs. Viola Marie Bunch, 45, of Mellott died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, 1979, at Williamsport Community Hospital where she had been a patient one week.
She had been in failing health for several years.
Mrs. Bunch had lived most of her life in Fountain and Warren Counties. She attended school at Rainsville.
Born Feb. 19, 1933 in Rainsville she was the daughter of Dan and Mae James Watkins. She married Francis Lowell Bunch in 1951, and he survives.
Other survivors include her mother, Mrs. Mae Watkins of Wingate, Ind.; two sons, Jesse at home and LeRoy of Mellott; five brothers, Jack of Independence, James of Williamsport Route 1, Kenneth of Veedersburg, Otis of Lawton, Okla., and Robert of Kingman Route 1; four sisters, Wilma Watkins of Crawfordsville, Mabel Jenks of Veedersburg Route 1, Elizabeth Watkins of West Point and Florence Farley of Wingate; and two grandchildren. – thanks to S
