BURCHETT, Harold Robert - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Harold Robert Burchett of Danville, Illinois, age 56, died Thursday morning, June 20, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville. He was born in Jonesville, Virginia, October 2, 1926, the son of Ellis Martin and Mollie Alice Hines Burchett. December 27, 1950, he married Marian Mascari, who died July 4, 1975. Burchett was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post 210 and the Elks Lodge. He was an employee of Kelly Food Products since 1957, became branch manager in 1964 and vie-president in 1973.

  Survivors include seven sisters, Faye Maynard of Danville, Pearl Rice of Covington, Virginia Ramsey of Fort Wayne, Mearl Ramsey of Sneedville, Tennessee, Louise Minor of Jonesville, Illinois, Annette Webber of Sarasota, Florida, and Phyllis Madaus of Orland, Florida.

  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Pape Memorial Home in Danville with Rev. J. Gerald Nichols officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville. – thanks so much to S
