BURGNER, Maude Boggs - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Maude Burgner, 90, of Veedersburg, a member of the United Methodist Church, Friday Study Club and DAR, died Wednesday, Dec. 15 1971. in the Alward Nursing Home at Attica. She was born Dec. 12, 1881, in Fountain County, a daughter of Ira and Susie Boggs. Her husband, William Burgner, preceded her in death. Also deceased are a son, daughter and grandchild. Survivors include a son Robert Burgner and daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Songer of Veedersburg; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Art Boggs of Veedersburg and Dewey Boggs of Orlando, Fla., and two sisters, Mrs. O. E. Furr of South Bend and Mrs. N. Tanksley of Culver. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2:00 p. m. Saturday at Lamey Funeral Horne in Veedersburg, where friends may call after 4:00, p. m. Friday. Rev. Vernon Souder will officiate, with burial in Rockfield cemetery. – jlr
