Mrs. Sarah Burk, 84, died at the home of Mrs. Mae Atkinson, with whom she had lived for the past year, at six o’clock Wednesday morning, April 16. She was born Aug. 2, 1862, the daughter of David and Mahala Hollingsworth, and was married April 26, 1888 to Charles Burk who died about a year ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church. There are no survivors. Funeral services were held at the Kingman Methodist Church at two o’clock Friday with the Rev. Leslie Smith officiating. Burial was in Harveysburg Cemetery with the Spencer Funeral Home in charge. – thanks to S&E
