Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Buna Ray Burke, 40, of 504 S. McDonald St., Attica, died Fri., Jan. 28, 1977 at his home. He had been ill since last April. He was born at Middletown, Ky., July 29, 1936, the son of Estel B. and Oma M. Bobbett Burke. He married Shirley Webb in Texas in 1960. They were later divorced. He had resided in Middletown and Anchorage, Ky., and attended school in Anchorage. Mr. Burke also had resided in Texas where he had been in the construction business. He had been in Attica since 1972. Survivors include his mother with whom he resided; two daughters, Laurie and Tammy Burke both of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Clinton (JoAnn) Slinker of Attica; and a brother, David Burke of Grand Prairie, Texas. Services in the Maus Chapel in Attica, with the Rev. Don Green officiating. Burial in the Riverside Cemetery in Attica.--waw
