VEEDERSBURG—Miss Clara May Burke, 71, of Veedersburg, died at 10:05 p.m. Wednesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. R. Irvin, at Sauk Village, Ill. A retired telephone operator, she was born April 18, 1898 at Yeddo, a daughter of George and Mary Hinshaw Burke. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Irvin of Sauk Village, Ill., Mrs. Roy E. Ault of Ingall, and a niece, Mrs. Howard Hoover of Chicago Heights, Ill. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman, with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery east of Yeddo. Friends may call at the funeral home. --typed by Walt W
