Junior "Bill" Burns, 78, of Sarasota, Fla., a former resident of Attica for several years, died Sunday May 30, 1976, at Doctors Hospital in Sarasota. He had been in ill health for some time and seriously ill for the past week. He was born June 16, 1897 in Ashland, Ky., the eldest of ten children. During World War II, he was employed in the shipyards in California. After the war he and his family located at 801 Summit Street in Attica. He was employed at Harrison Steel for 20 years, retiring in 1968. Since that time he had made his home in Bradenton and Sarasota, Fla. He is survived by his wife Mary; three sons, Cameron and Duward of Crawfordsville and Ronnie of India Atlantic, Fla.; and one daughter, Kay McMurtrie of Sarasota. Also surviving are five sisters and one brother and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services and burial at Sarasota, Fla. --typed by: JR
