West Lebanon - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Belle Burton, age 76, of Monticello, sister of Harley Zimmerman of Covington Rt. 2, who died Thursday, Oct. 17 at her cottage residence on Lake Freeman were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at the Crowmer-Siddens Chapel in West Lebanon. The Rev. Bill Moon officiated. Burial was in the Redwood Cemetery. Born at Hedrick in November, 1885, she was a daughter of George R. and Maggie Zimmerman. She married George R. Burton June 1, 1901 and he died in 1937. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge at Indianapolis and the Hedrick Christian Church. Survivors are three brothers, Guy Belle of Williamsport Rt. 2, Wilbur of Crawfordsville and Harley of Covington Rt. 2, plus several nieces and nephews. --- typed by Barbara B
