A fractured skull suffered Tuesday when he was thrown from his tractor brought death to Wiley J. Bush, 37, farmer who had just moved to a farm northeast of Covington last Saturday. The family came from the Silverwood community. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville following the accident where he died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday. Injuries suffered when he was thrown off the tractor were the cause of death according to Vermilion County Coroner John D. Cole. Bush was born March 19, 1906 in Parke County, Ind, the son of Louis and Myrtle Whittmeyer Bush. Surviving him are his widow, Maggie Murdock Bush, his mother, four children and a stepdaughter. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Waterman Baptist Church. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. – 1943
