Attica, Ind. (CNS) -- Clarence Butts, 78, of 710 S. Union, died at 1:10 a.m. today (Jan. 3, 1969) in the Community Hospital at Williamsport. He had been ill two months. Born Jan. 25, 1890, in Williamsport, he was the son of Abner and Julia Swaney Butts. He married Estella Morgason in 1941. Mr. Butts was employed at Harrison Steel Castings Co. more than 20 years before his retirement in 1958. He also raised and sold parakeets. He is survived by the widow; a son, Charles of Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Braaksma of Remington and Mrs. Goldie Van Dame of Attica, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Roemer Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 tonight. --typed by Walt W
