James L. Cade, age 43, of Avondale Estates, Ga., nephew of Mrs. Don Harris of Covington and a native of Perrysville, died at 8:30 a.m.Tuesday, March 14, in an Atlanta, Ga., hospital. He had been hospitalized since Saturday, March 11, and death was attributed to a heart attack. Mr. Cade was born Aug. 6, 1923 in Perrysville, the son of Benton and Doris Bryant Cade. He attended the Perrysville schools. At the time of his death Mr. Cade was auditor for Phillips 66, covering the Georgia and Florida territory. He is survived by his wife, Jean; two daughters, Connie and Linda, and one son, Danny, at home; his mother of New Jersey; two half-sisters, Mrs. Barbara Adams of Avondale Estates, Ga., and Mrs. Virginia Tiffany of New Jersey, and one half-brother, Bob of Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father and one half-sister. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Trinity Chapel in Decatur, Ga. The Turner Funeral Home in Decatur was in charge of services and interment.
