Ethel Lela CALDWELL daughter of Mrs. Mannie Rennick Caldwell died at her home in Cates about 3 o'clock Wednesday morning after an illness of only a few days of diabetes. She was born March 7, 1904 and was 12 years 8 days of age. Her father William Caldwell preceded her in death about 8 years ago and one brother Ralph and a sister Muriel have also passed. Ethel united with the UB Church at Cates during a meeting held there in December last and was an earnest worker in the newly organized junior society of that church. She is survived by the mother, one sister Ruby and 4 brothers: Wilbur, Will, Cecil and Roscoe. The funeral services were conducted from the Cates church Friday morning at 11 o'clock by Rev. Leslie Smith. Burial in Cates Cemetery
