Mrs. William Caldwell was buried Friday in Maplewood
Cemetery. She died Wednesday 16th February at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. MA Jones, 707 Merchant Street. The pallbearers were her three
sons, Milton O; Harry and Charles C; her son-in-law. Dr. Milton A. Jones and
two of her grandsons, Orville Caldwell and Eldred Caldwell. Mrs. Caldwell was
born in Fountain County, Indiana in 1837. In 1867 she married and came with her
husband to Kansas settling in the Fruitland neighborhood in Lynn County. She
lived in this county until her death. Note: Melinda Denton married William W.
