ALBERT CAMPBELL, a wealthy retired farmer living in Hillsboro, took his own life Tuesday morning by taking carbolic acid.   It is alleged that the old gentleman had made remarks about John Wilt, who is the democratic candidate for sheriff, that when confronted by the accused, was unable to prove and rather than ruin his family’s good name and run the risk of libel suits, thought to end it all by taking his  life. -s
