Veedersburg - Mrs. Carrie Campbell, 84, a life resident of Veedersburg, died Sunday at 2 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roy Hunt, one mile west of Veedersburg. Born in Veedersburg on Sept. 24, 1869, she was the daughter of George and Mary Wilkins Vinson. On March 17, 1888, she was married to Franklin Campbell. She was a member of the Osborne Prairie Christian Church. Survivors include the daughter, Mrs. Hunt; two sons, Bryan of Indianapolis and Wilbur of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Osborne Prairie Christian Church. Rev. Guy Walters will officiate, and burial will be in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. The body will lie in state for one hour preceding services. Friends may call at the Hunt residence after Tuesday morning.
