Mrs. Hattie Campbell, life long resident of the Veedersburg community died Friday afternoon Sept 19 at her home in Veedersburg with heart failure. Mrs. Campbell had not been ill but had been in declining health for some time. She was born Dec 1, 1866, near Stone Bluff, the daughter of Franklin and Malinda Redden Dice. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Campbell and 3 of her children. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Dot Boggs of Veedersburg and Mrs. Nevra Boyer of Danville, Ill 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchldren. She was a charter member of the Campbell's Chapel United Brethren Church and her family was among the early settlers in that neighborhood. Funeral services were held Sudnay afternoon at Parham Funeral Home with Richard Owen officiating. Burial in Campbell Chapel Cemetery.
