Buford C. Campbell of RR 2, Covington, age 51, died Saturday afternoon, January 22, in Mercy Hospital at Champaign, Illinois. He was born April 24, 1931, the son of Raymond and Myrtle Winchester Campbell. March 31, 1952, he married Doris Dowers, who survives. Campbell had worked for the former Transport Motor Express in Danville, Illinois, and had been disabled for nine years.
Also surviving are two daughters, Rhonda of Danville and Marlena of Covington; two sons, Raymond and Randy, both of Covington; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Urbas Funeral Home in Westville, Illinois, with Rev. Leston Paddock officiating. Burial was in Georgetown (Illinois) Cemetery. – thanks to S
