Wallace - Mrs. Ina Carlile, 73, long a resident of Fountain County died at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis where she had been a patient two weeks. Mrs. Carlile moved to Indiana from Illinois while a child and resided with her grandparents at Hammond until her marriage. She lived in Fountain County after her marriage. She was born March 12, 1900 at Roanoke, Ill. She first married John Bever of Hillsboro. She later married Marvin Carlile at Wallace. He preceded her in death in April 1971. Surviving are two sons, Glen Bever of Linnsburg and Paul Bever of California; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Campton of Indianapolis; a stepson Kenneth Carlile of Crawfordsville; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Esther Bryant of Waynetown; Mrs. Berniece Myers of Waveland and Mrs. Barbara Keller of Wallace; 5 grandchildren 15 stepgrandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be conducated at 2 p.m. Monday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. John C. Stacy officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Heart Fund.

She was born March 12, 1900 in Roanoke, Ill and she moved to Indiana as a small child and was raised by her grandparents in Hammond. She lived all of her married life in Fountain County. She was first married to John Bever of Hillsboro and later to Marvin Carlile of Wallace who preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Glen Bevr of Crawfordsville and Paul Bever of Califronia; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Campton of Indianapolis; a stepson, Kenneth Carlile of Crawfordsville; 3 stepdaughters, Mrs. Esther Bryant tof Waynetown and Mrs. Berniece Myers of Waveland and Mrs. Barbara Keller of Wallace; 5 grandchildren,15 step grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Servies-Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown, Rev. John Stacy will officiate and burial will be in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
