Attica – Frans Otto Carlson, 81, a farmer on Rt 1, Attica for 38 years died in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday just 42 days after the death of his wife. He was admitted to the hospital after he was hurt in a fall from a truck Oct 4. Born at Varberg, Sweden, he came to the US when 19 years old and was married to Tina Larson in Kentucky in 1915. His wife died Sept 18. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church here. Surviving are a son, Clarence and daughter, Pauline both at home, and three brothers, Oscar, Adolph and Godfrig all in Sweden.
