Mrs. Gladys Irene Carlson, 74, of Attica Route 1, died at 9 a. m. Tuesday (March 9, 1976) at her home. Death was caused by a heart attack. Born Dec. 12, 1901, in Delphi, Ind., she was the daughter of John and Anna Kathryn Austin Gilkerson. She had resided all her life in Davis Township of Fountain County. On Sept. 2, 1919, in Lafayette, she was married to Hansel Carlson, who survives. He is a retired farmer. She attended school in West point. Survivors include two sons, Russell Carlson of New Richmond, Route 1 and Lloyd Carlson of Attica; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Pat) Campbell of Attica Route 4; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Two sons and a sister preceded her in death. Services will be at 2 p. m. Friday at the Dale Maus Chapel, with the Rev. Karl Korbel officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery east of Attica.--waw
