Orville Eugene Carlson of RR 2, Attica, age 60, died Wednesday, July 11, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. He was born in Davis Township, Fountain County, December 12, 1918, the son of Jesse L. and Frances Pearl Duncan Carlson. October 28, 1941, he was married to Elma Pearl, who survives. he was a farmer in Davis Township his entire life. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jenny Baird of Rockville and Mrs. Katherine Englmann of Dayton, Ohio; a son, Larry of Attica; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Short of Attica and Mrs. Dorothy Hoffine of Lafayette; a brother, Charles of Linden; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Kenneth Burris officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery east of Attica. -- typed by: GA
