Covington, Ind Dec 22 – Mrs. Elizabeth Carpenter, age 81, a native of Fountain County is dead at her home in Mellott, northeast of here. She is survived by three children: Charles Carpenter of Mellott; Mrs. Indiana Remster of Veedersburg and Arthur Carpenter of Alabama. – kbz
