Henry William Carsman, age 83, a life resident of Eugene and Perrysville and the brother of Miss Clara Carsman of Perrysville, died at 6:05 p.m. Friday, June 17, in the Union Hospital in Terre Haute. Mr. Carsman was born Sept. 7, 1882, in Eugene, the son of John G. and Helena Heidbrider Carsman. His wife, the former Stella Gerard, died May 28, 1934. Survivors include: one brother, Edward Carsman of Fullerton, Calif.; and two sisters, Miss Clara Carsman of Perrysville and Mrs. Lucy Winchel of Brooksville, Fla. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga. The Rev. Frank Jump officiated and burial was in the cemetery at Eugene.
