Veedersburg – Mrs. Sarah Wann Cartwright, 94, one of oldest natives of Fountain County died at 4 p.m. Saturday at the home of her son, Wilbur B. Cartwright, prosecuting attorney of Fountain County.  Mrs. Cartwright the last of a family of 16, was born near Silverwood on Jan 1, 1852, the daughter of Daniel and Charlotte Randolph Wann.  She married Isaac N. Cartwright Dec 10, 1874. He preceded her in death in 1926.  Survivors include the son, Wilbur, with whom she had made her home the past three years and a daughter. Mrs. Vera O. Shirk, who resides near Kingman.  The body was removed to the Watson Funeral Home in Cayuga and was taken to the daughter’s home near Kingman Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Baptist Church at Lodi of which Mrs. Cartwright was a member. Rev. BB Cartwright pastor of the Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Danville will officiate. Interement will be in Silver Island Cemetery. - kbz
