Covington—Hershel Carwile died suddenly Monday noon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Francis Walters in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
He was born 1 ½ miles south of Covington 71 years ago, the son of Francis Monroe and Mary Jane Rhodes Carwile.
Survivors are one son, James of Perrysville; one brother, Fred, of Covington; one sister, Bessie Carwile, of Danville.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Crumley and Son Funeral Home in Covington with the Rev. E. E. McConnell officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery. – thanks to S&E
